Financial Aid Appeal for Academic Standing (SAP)
Students who are placed on Academic Probation should complete the following form to appeal for access to Federal Financial Aid programs (i.e. Pell Grant, SEOG, Work Study, Stafford and PLUS Loans, etc.). Students who will need more than 1 semester to return to good standing will also need an Financial Aid Academic Plan before their aid will be reinstated. Students will receive an email of the decision of the Financial Aid Appeals Committee with information on next steps, if any.

Explain why you did not make good academic progress to meet the Satisfactory Academic Progress requirements listed in the College Catalog (i.e. illness or injury of the student, death of a relative, or other serious extenuating circumstances). Responses MUST be very detailed.
Explain the steps you will take, if approved by the Financial Aid Appeals Committee, to return to good academic standing. Responses MUST be very detailed.
